DJ Viro's Career began in late 1996 at the age of 12 when he began to experiment with computer software that generated MIDI (code that allows a computer or sequencer to "orchestrate" other instruments such as a keyboard synthesizer or a sampler). After learning his way around the MIDI protocol and exploring the endless musical possibilities of making his own electronic music, DJ Viro's producing career was born.

Two years later -at the age of 14 - Viro already had 200 songs completed, all ranging from hip hop, trance, breaks and even jungle. Unlike most 14 year-olds who were out causing trouble in the neighborhood, Viro put his ambition to work by building himself a studio. In no time at all, Viro had himself a Yamaha CS2x keyboard and some other related equipment. A musical prodigy was born!

At the age of 16, Viro bought a couple of turntables and began incorporating dj'ing into his production.

Currently signed to 941 as a trance Remixer, Viro also works on other outside projects. He has done remixes for the likes of DJ Moon, Funkwax, DJ Spice, Algorhythm and many others. His sound is very advanced and belies his age as you can hear from the Real Audio samples below. Not bad for a 17 year-old.
